McCombe Voted Man Of The MatchArticle Date: 24 Oct 2007 Hereford United central defender John McCombe has won the Official Hereford United Website poll to decide who was the Bulls man of the match against MK Dons. McCombe, who made his full League 2 debut for the Bulls on Saturday has been voted as the Bulls best player during the narrow 1-0 defeat, polling 66% of the vote. McCombe gave an impressive display and could have opened his Bulls goalscoring account, had it not been for a fine save from the Dons' 'keeper. The Official Website Man of the Match award was McCombe's third man of the match award for his efforts against MK Dons, having been awarded match sponsors, 'Beehive Intercontinental's' man of the match, as well as being awarded the Hereford United Vice Presidents man of the match. McCombe is now likely to get a string of performances under his belt, due to the absence of Dean Beckwith through injury, McCombe is likely to want to use his opportunity wisely and cement his place in the Bulls starting line-up.
