Ainsworth Wins Award

Lionel Ainsworth has been named Official Website Man of the Match against Leeds United.

Ainsworth, who was awarded the Sky Sports Man of the Match award for his display against Leeds United, eventually triumphed in the poll with 26% of the vote.

It is the third time Lionel has won the accolade, having won the first two Official Website Man of the Match awards of the season against Rotherham United and Yeovil Town. The winger also collected the Player of the Month gong for August.

Defender, Richard Rose, who also performed admirably in the goalless draw with Dennis Wise's side, finished in second place with 21% of the poll, whilst John McCombe came third with 15% of supporters' votes.

Voting for Hereford's man of the match against Stockport County on Saturday will commence shortly after the final whistle.
