Smith Scores v Lincoln
Ben Smith has won the Official Website Man of the Match poll for his goalscoring performance in United's 3-1 win over Lincoln City at Edgar Street last Saturday.
The central midfielder scored Hereford's third goal in the 3-1 win, and romped home with 59% of supporters' votes.
Smith has been in fine form lately. This latest accolade is Ben's third Official Website Man of the Match gong in the space of five matches, having also won the award in The Bulls' FA Cup encounters with Leeds United at Elland Road and Hartlepool United at Edgar Street.
He also won the Official Website Player of the Month award for the second time in November, after sharing the prize with Trevor Benjamin in September.
With Smith's margin of victory so great in the man of the match poll against Lincoln City, two players - Sam Gwynne and Theo Robinson - shared second place with 8%, whilst there was a three-way tie for third with John McCombe, Simon Johnson and Toumani Diagouraga all receiving 4% of the poll.
Voting for The Bulls' man of the match at Bury on Saturday will commence shortly after the final whistle.
