Coca-Cola Zero gives Hereford fans the chance to find the next Wayne Rooney, and supporters entering promotional codes over the weekend will double their chances of winning...

The latest promotion from Coca-Cola is giving Bulls supporters the chance to win 25k for the youth team, as well as £1,000 for themselves. And fans are given the opportunity to double their chances each week by entering promotional codes from Coke Zero on Saturday's or Sunday's.

Shrewsbury Town have already profited from the scheme, winning 25k for their Youth Development Scheme last week.

Wayne Rooney has helped 'Coca-Cola Zero' launch their most exciting football promotion to date, giving Hereford United fans the chance to help shape the Bulls future and win money for themselves simply by buying special packs of 'Coca-Cola Zero'.

The 'Coca-Cola Zero - Find the Next Rooney' competition will make one Football League or Scottish Premier League fan the toast of their club by giving them a cheque for £25,000 to give to their club to spend on youth development along with £1,000 to keep for themselves! There are a total of ten £25,000 and £1,000 prizes up for grabs in weekly draws between now and March 3rd.

It's easy to enter the promotion. Bulls fans need to look out for special packs of 'Coca-Cola Zero' featuring a unique entry code and enter the code online at www.coca-cola.co.uk or via SMS to 88555. Once entered, fans will be automatically placed into the weekly draw to find out if they've won money for Hereford United's Youth set-up along with £1,000 for themselves. Each entry will also be placed into a bonus draw for an extra £25,000 prize for one club, to be revealed at the end of March.

There's a whole host of other prizes up for grabs. The fan who enters the promotion the most times for Hereford United will win a Superfan prize. This could be anything from a place on the bench during a game to a place on the 1st team coach to an away game!

Winners will also get the chance to meet Wayne Rooney along with players from the winning club's youth teams at an exclusive coaching session being held at the end of the promotion.

Manchester United and England star Wayne Rooney said: "The Coke Zero promotion is a great idea. It's important we do everything we can to help the next generation of players and this promotion means fans can do their bit."

Football League Chairman Lord Mawhinney said: "Across the Football League, clubs are making an extensive effort to find and develop the young stars of the future. We are determined to build on this for the benefit of our clubs and the national team. This promotion will give fans the opportunity to support this work by winning a cash prize for their club, a prize that could go on to pay even greater dividends in seasons to come."

Johanne Barton, Senior Manager for Coca-Cola Zero said: Find the Next Rooney is Coke Zero's biggest and best promotion to date and builds on the successful Win a Million Tickets campaign we ran last summer. This promotion further strengthens our links to the game and gives fans an exciting way to help their clubs whilst winning some great prizes for themselves."

Coca-Cola Zero, dubbed 'Bloke Coke' has the great Coke taste but zero sugar and has been a huge success since it was launched in the UK in 2006. Coca-Cola has been the proud title sponsor of the Football League since 2004 and recently extended its sponsorship deal to run until the 2009/10 season.
