Leeds United progress to the final of the League 1 play-offs with a 3-2 aggregate win over Carlisle...

Leeds United overcame a 2-1 defecit from the first leg, winning 2-0 at Carlisle's Brunton Park, to secure their place in the League 1 Play-Off Final to be held at Wembley on Sunday 25th May.

Leeds will be joined by either Southend United or Doncaster Rovers, who play Friday night, after a 0-0 draw in their first leg.

The result means that Hereford are certain to travel to Brunton Park next season, for the first time since October 2004, when United suffered a 3-1 defeat. Carlisle were promoted from the Conference that season, whilst United lost out to Stevengae Borough in the Play-Off semi-finals.

I know that this redevolpment is a chain and anchor around everyones neck but, why doesnt the website hold a poll to see where the fans think the key areas for improvement are. This would give the fans a feel good factor, simple things like painting inside and out, bill boards freshening up and if theyve not got advertising on them paint them instead of having them rusty and making the ground look like its falling down, sort the toilets out (disgraceful),improve the PA system as to get some atmosphere going come match day etc. These are just a few small things that would get the feel good factor back in the ground! Maybe have a advert for fans to come in and help paint etc, were a good bunch and like helping the club! COME ON YOU BULLS!!

You're right there richie326 I can remember (not too long ago) going to the "painting days" and generally tidying the place up prior to the start of the next season, and I don't know why they stopped. I didn't do any painting but preferred to go outside of the Meadow End and brush the steps and clear-up all the crap (including syringes etc). The best part of course was going in for a cup of tea and a sandwich and having a chat with God. Let's reintroduce this fantastic idea - Come on you Whites!!
