Date Set For Return to TrainingArticle Date: 23 May 2008 Hereford United players will return to pre-season training on 2nd July, as they start to prepare for life in League 1... Talking to the Official Hereford United Website, Turner set out his sides pre-season schedule. "We start pre-season training five and a half weeks before the season starts and we're going to Birmingham City for a private practice match against their first team on the 10th July. It will be probably three or four half hours, depending on how many players each squad has. "Obviously we have games against Kidderminster, Wolves, Southampton, and West Brom games are all in their as well. We'll add two or three more games to that before the programme is complete. "I've also approached Bristol City about a game, but obviously they have other things on their minds at the moment. A big date at Wembley, but we hope that we can do something with them when they finally finish their season." i think we should offer a kind hand to the lesser clubs of the region and grant say, shrewsbury, or another minnow the pleasure of a pre season 'glamour' friendly
