Bulls Will Visit Elland Road Next SeasonArticle Date: 25 May 2008 Hereford United will travel to Elland Road for the first time in a League game next season, after Leeds lost out to Doncaster Rovers in the League 1 Play-Off Final... After a goalless opening 45 minutes, Doncaster took the lead moments after the second half had restarted, with Jamie Hayter directing a header into the back of the Leeds net. Rovers, who had taken the game to Leeds managed to hold on to secure their place in the Coca-Cola Championship next season. The defeat will be a bitter blow for Leeds, who despite a 15 point deduction at the start of the season, still managed to reach the play-offs. However, the result will be met favourably at Edgar Street, with another big fixture set to take place next season. The Bulls defeated Leeds in the First Round of this season's FA Cup with a 1-0 win at Elland Road, following a 0-0 draw in the original fixture. A full match report can be found on the Official Football League Website Hereford United would like to congratulate former Bulls first team coach, Richard O'Kelly, on helping to guide Doncaster Rovers to promotion. Well done Richard! Add your congratulations to Doncaster, Have your say now! Fan Comments (4)Comments are now closed. |

The obvious disappointment of losing at Wembley has now gone and I look forward to a day out at Hereford next season which is a short trip for us leeds fans based in west wales. I always look out for Hereford's results and was there for the FA Cup tie last season which you deservedly won over the 2 games. Hope you have a great season in div 1 , no less that Graham Turner deserves.
