Turner Confirms Interest In PlayersArticle Date: 6 Jun 2008 In his weekly video interview with The Bulls Official Website, Bulls supremo, Graham Turner is set to confirm that an offer has been made for Gary Hooper... In the weekly video interview with the Official Hereford United Website, which will appear here later, Turner will confirm that interest has been shown in Gary Hooper, in a process that has been drawn out for almost a fortnight. Turner will also confirm that he 'has an open mind' on one former Bulls loanee, as well as giving Bulls supporters an update on Toumani Diagouraga, who Turner still has a big interest in, and is in constant contact with his agent. United's Chairman and Director of Football also reveals that talks are ongoing with a number of players and agents, and that a 40-60 page document from the PFA detailing available players that landed on his desk this morning, will be scrutinised to make sure that no available players slip through the net. The Bulls supremo also talks about a replacement for Wayne Brown, saying that he has an open mind as to who he will sign, from a youngster to an experienced pro - on loan or permanently. There are however two things the Bulls boss says must be in place by the start of the season with regards to goalkeepers. United must have two good 'keepers and, should a loan 'keeper be chosen, the deal must be for a sustained period, without the possibility of losing him to a recall. Turner also updates supporters with news on the Edgar Street pitch, confirming that the club are set to invest in an automatic sprinkler system. In other news, the Sun Valley logo is set to remain on the first team shirts for the forthcoming season, but Cargill have been confirmed as the new sponsor for what was previously known as the Floors-2-Go and prior to that, the Len Weston Stand. The full video interview will be available exclusively on the Official Hereford United Website at around 1:30pm this afternoon (Friday). Fan Comments (1)Comments are now closed. |
