Turner Talks ContractsArticle Date: 6 Jun 2008 Graham Turner updated the Official Hereford United Website with all the latest on the current contract negotiations... In his weekly video interview, which will appear here shortly, Turner gives an update on the current, various, contract negotiations. "I'm in constant touch with Toumani's agent, he's has been flitting between holidays and going back to France so we've not been able to nail down a meeting, but we will be pursuing that one actively. "We made an offer to Southend for Gary Hooper, it's dragged on now for almost a fortnight, and they've now official placed him on the transfer list so we'll have to wait on the outcome of that one. "Sammy [Igoe] we've got an open mind on at the moment, he did a good job for us in the games that he played for us late on in the season. "We've got profiles of what we want, we're talking to a number of players, a number of agents, somewhere along the line we've got to get some pace in the side, we've got to get goals upfront, we've got to get a centre half in, another defender in, an extra central midfield player, so there's lists, we're going through them at the moment. "All the information is coming in from the PFA, from the scouting organisations with the information as to who is available and who isn't. Turner also confirms that talks are ongoing with Dean Beckwith's agent, and that he is waiting to hear off Richard Rose and Simon Johnson. "Players have a month from the time the offer is given to them, they think there is no urgency, we'll have to wait and see what the next seven day's will bring!" The full video interview with Turner will be available here, on the Official Hereford United Website at around 1:30pm this afternoon [Friday].
