Garry Breen Joins BullsArticle Date: 1 Jul 2008 19-year-old central defender Garry Breen has signed for Hereford United. The centre-half put pen to paper at Edgar Street on Tuesday and will join the Bulls on a one-year contract. Breen's last club was Premier League outfit Manchester City where he played a defensive role for the reserve side. He was part of the Blues' youth team that reached the FA Youth Cup final against Liverpool in 2006, playing the full 90-minutes of a 3-0 first-leg defeat at Anfield that saw, former Hereford loanees, Robbie Threlfall and Ryan Flynn find the back of the net. Garry has also represented the Republic of Ireland at U17 level.

about time it was made public that we got another player i was starting to worry if we would have enough players a couple of strikers and a few gaolkeepers and dave and were looking good for a playoff place c'mon GT keep it goin

Great news, this is a good young talamt from the best youth set up in the premiership so should do well for us in division 1. Still waiting to hear any news on goal keeping front? Need one in soon so the defence can get used to playing with a new man behind them! COME ON YOU WHITES 2008/09 SEASON HERE WE GO!

Its sad that we have a so called supporter who finds this matter funny! Please note that the the most successful teams start from the back & we need to have the right keeper in to create an understanding with his defence. Any indecision will cost us at this level!

Welcome to Edgar Street Gary. You will soon realise what a good team ethic and spirit GT has created and will love it I'm sure. There's not many of us supporters compared to MCFC, but what we are right there with you. ......and you get the chance to beat Leeds twice this season!
