See your memories in print

Calling all Hereford United fans!  Are you proud of the achievements of your club over the last three seasons?  What has been your highlight, the 2006 play-off final with Guy holding the ball up in the corner and Green's stupendous goal?

How about being one of the 1000+ fans at Brentford? Or perhaps sneaking a surprise point at Wycombe or Wayne 'Superman' Brown’s save at Mansfield?

How about the lows? Being stuck on a motorway at 3:30pm? Seeing every defeat but never a win? Have you had a humorous experience involving following Hereford United?  Why not share it with us and you could soon see your comment in print?

Drop us a line, in no more than 100 words, with your memories from the last three seasons. Please state your full name alongside it and we’ll include the best in a forthcoming book.  Please hurry as contributions are required by mid September.

Please send your contributions via email here and note we need your full name, not a forum name.

Please Note: This week wil be your last chance to have your memories included in the publication.

one has got to be hoopers winning goal at shrewsbury in front of 16000 of us hereford fans, guys goal with 8 mins to go in the play-off final, he came of the bench and put us back in it, it was a dream come true, and not to foget the support at the brentford game i said weeks before that ,that would be the weekend we go up and i was right. THEN AGAIN ALL LAST FEW SEASON WHERE MEMORIES, now we get down to the real work league 1 here we come.

Grimsby, Home, Last match. the first time for years I could settle and watch a game that had no relevance. We were already up. The relaxed atmosphere showed and we played text book footy. many, many others.

  • OZZY HUFC more like 1600 fans!! Best memory the Brentford game, a pure emotional rollercoaster, followed closely by the 1-1 cup draw at home to Spurs. The worst would be 030597 going down on our own manor against Brighton. Had some great memories this past season: Shrewsbury, Rochdale and Wrexham away in particular

only the last three seasons!!!.........my dad (he is 72) loseing his teeth (there false!) over two young!! girls as Green scored at the walkers stadium to send the mighty bulls back into the football league...........then waking up in the morning still drunk singing Hereford football songs with my children with my wife just smiling. Im 42 now and have been a bulls fan since me dad took me to watch a certain young Kevin Sheedy play, but never ever have i seen scenes such as that Sunday, but my dad has the beating of me he was there for that day!! against Newcastle.

  • Mine was winning 1-0 away at Leeds last season but also the 3-0 win at brentford which sent us up.

Had to be when Hereford beat Halifax in Play-off Final; what a day I will never forget and the journey... over three hours of getting there from Burnley and five to get back. Was it worth it? You bet. Hereford beating Rochdale 4-2 and of all the matches I've seen Hereford play last season, 7 in total, I did not see us lose. Win 6; drawn 1.
