FULL TIME: Hereford 1-2 Swindon Hereford United exit the Johnstones Paint Trophy at the Second Round stage after a 2-1 defeat to Swindon Town. Matt Done gave The Bulls the lead but Swindon came back with a goal at the end of each half to secure the win. 90+3: Peackock makes way for Jean Paul McGovern with just seconds left. 90+1: BOOKING: Cox goes into the referees notebook. 90mins: THREE MINUTES ADDED TIME 87mins: Bradley Hudso-Odoi almost manages to get a shot away on the turn from 6 yards out but the defender blocks and the ball rolls through to Brezovan in the Swindon goal. 84mins: GOAL! Swindon take the lead with just 6 minutes remaining here at Edgar Street. Lee Peacock fired home into the back of the net after some neat play from the visitors on the right. 83mins: SUB: Bradley Hudson-Odoi replaces Matt Done for The Bulls. 80mins: Johnson breaks at speed down the right, but his right footed cross - aimed at Chadwick - is deflected behind for a corner. 76mins: SUB: Lilian Nalis is replaced by Anthony McNamee for Swindon. 72mins: Andy Williams finds himself space 17 yards from goal on the right hand side of the area - however his powerful shot rises a yard or two above the bar and out for a goalkick. 71mins: SUB: Barry Corr replaces Paynet in the visitors first change of the game - He immediately receives the ball from a corner before seeing his stabbed effort cleared by the Bulls defence. 66mins: Paynter has the best chance of this second half so far, firing a Simon Cox cross narrowly over the bar from 12 yards out. 65mins: Johnson finds himself in space on the right before sending a diagonal ball in towards Williams on the edge of the area, however Brezovan is out quickly and clears with his feet. 61mins: Nalis sends a left footed volley from the edge of the area in on goal, but it's deflected behind for a corner. Moments later and the visitors have another corner, with Broadhurst turning behind another Swindon attack. 60mins: Timlin sends a left footed shot from 25yards out narrlowly past Samson's upright and out for a goalkick. 53mins: Swindon have the ball in the back of the net, but the referee awards Samson a free kick after a fould from Billy Paynter. 50mins: A slow start to the game here, with neither side able to take control. Andy Williams almost found himself in behind the back, but his run was halted and Swindon managed to clear. Shortly afterwards and Swindon had a shot from 20 yards out fly wide of the mark. Today's attendance is 1,458 with 277 from Swindon. Both teams are out and ready to go - with both sides keeping the same eleven for the start of the second half. HALF TIME: Hereford 1-1 Swindon 45+1mins: GOAL! Swindon draw level bang on the half time whistle with Simon Cox firing home after a lay-back from a seemingly offside, Lea Peacock - the goal stands however. 45mins: 1 MINUTE ADDED TIME 43mins: Michael Timlin sends a tame free kick in on goal from the edge of the area, but Samson claims comfortably before setting the Bulls off on an attack which sees Williams force a goal-line clearance from Sean Morrison after rounding the 'keeper. 40mins: Amankwaah breaks into the Bulls area on the right hand side, but his ball to Simon Cox is miss-controlled and Broadhurst manages to stab the ball clear. 38mins: Broadhurst heads clear a high free kick from Swindon, but the visitors regain possession before Sean Morrison is flagged offside at the back post. 33mins: Some good attacking play from The Bulls sees Johnson send two balls into the area in quick succession - however, both times Chadwick can't get the desired contact and Swindon manage to clear. 30mins: GOAL! United take the lead through Matty Done - his left footed shot from the edge of the area is dropped by Brezovan in the Swindon goal - before bouncing over the line. 28mins: Beckwith deflects a neat looking volley from Simon Cox behind for a corner - which is sent into the area before being headed behind for a Bulls goal kick. 28mins SUB: Ashikodi leaves the field - with what looks like a hamstring injury - he's replaced by Andy Williams who will partner Chadwick in attack. 27mins: Timlin sends a left footed free kick into the Bulls penalty area, but Chadwick half clears before Samson claims the high ball. 25mins: Sadly we're going from one free kick to another here with very little play in between. Thats partly down to a few silly pushes, but also by an overactive referees whistle! 23mins: A fast break from Matty Done down the left leaves three Swindon defenders behind - however his cross is cut out at the near post and Swindon clear. 15mins: Easton swings in a left footed free kick from the right hand corner - it almost finds Beckwith, but Ifil is there first to head behind for a Bulls corner. 14mins: Some neat play from Johnson and Ashikodi sees the two exchange a quick one-two on the edge of the area before the Bulls right-winger sends a right footed shot in on goal from just inside the area - however Brezovan is down quickly grabbing the ball at the second attempt. 9mins: Chadwick almost manages to stab the ball past Brezovan after a great through-ball from Broadhurst - however the visiting 'keeper manages to get a toe to it and divert the goalbound effort from going in. 5mins: Some misscommunication from Samson and Beckwith sees the latter concede a corner which Morrison almost manages to break the deadlock from - heading wide from 7 yards. 4mins: Easton has just seen a left footed shot from the edge of the area charged down, and then moments later, Taylor sends a left footed cross into the box which Chadwick tries to flick on - however it comes to nothing and Swindon gain possession. 2mins: Ashikodi sends a low cross-shot flying across the face of the 6 yard box, but Chadwick can't reach it and the ball rolls out for a goal kick. 19:45pm: We're underway here at Edgar Street, Hereford will be shooting down the slope towards the Meadow End in the first half. 19:40pm: Just five minutes to go here, there's not a great deal of people milling around - but interest in this competition doesn't really kick in until the Area Semi-Final stages. Should the scores be level at the end of the game, then we'll be going straight to penalties, with no extra-time. 19:30pm: Welcome to Edgar Street for tonight's clash between The Bulls and The Robins. It's the second time this season that the two sides have met with Swindon having already visited Edgar Street at the beginning of September - and leaving with a point after the two sides shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw. Turner has made a number of changes from Saturday's 0-0 draw against Walsall. Samson, Beckwith, Easton, Done, Johnson, Chadwick and Ashikodi all returning to the starting eleven. Swindon have made just the one change ahead of tonights game, with Peter Brezovan replacing Phil Smith between the sticks for the visitors. Come on boys.....I know that we aren't doing the best but that's down to the people of Hereford.....COME ON!!!....we are in Lg1...we have an AMAZING manager...we mite go down but still we will of had a taste of Lg1 football.....come on....go to the games and help SUPPORT YOUR CLUB....!!!!!
