Pathetic 2nd half display after we had outplayed Swindon for 44 minutes and 59 seconds of the 1st half.
Why did we resort to hoofing the ball straight to their massive centre backs? Why did everyone stop moving and making themselves available for the ball?
The first Swindon goal clearly knocked the stuffing out of us and the players did not appear to have the backbone to respond. Someone needs to inform them that football is generally played over 90 minutes!

That second half was the worst I have seen from Hereford in a long time, I cannot get over how a side can be playing so well in the first half and then just resort to long punts in the second half, of which we never won a single header. That's the 4th goal we have let in the 45th minute this season and we need to concentrate right up to half time. We desperately need a striker as our options are poor, Chadwick and Willo never looked like scoring, I would actually be pleased if we had Theo back now. Sort it out GT or the attendances are going to get even smaller.

I agree entirely about the lack of striking options. Chadwick is slow, clumsy and completely out if his depth.
In his post match interview GT referred to the fact that several players that featured against Swindon would not be playing "at Oldham". In the case of Chadwick and Easton, I hope he actually meant "ever again"!

I can't guess whether crowds will go down or not, I'd guess a lot of us have HUFC as a habit and will go along regardless, after all if following a football club was based on the clubs success we'd all be Man Utd fans wouldn't we, and that would never do. But still, some will fall by the wayside because watching a team play badly and lose is different from playing well and losing, and that second half was pretty dire. I think we all agree the first half was competitive and I though that Chadwick was our best player by someway, he works hard and gives the opposition defence a hard time. Their No5 was excellent too - any chance of getting him? Hadn't seen Chadwick since that first game when he looked like he hadn't played for a bit but he certainly looks in the grove now. I wish I could say the same about Ashikodi. Second half was there for all to see - in midfield it was men against boys, we barely touched the ball, so the defence was continually lumping the ball up field and the forwards were reduced to feeding off scraps, I'm thinking silk purses and sows ears here. We'll not get a run of goals until we start controlling the game, think of last season. We look a League 2 outfit at the moment - the solution ? Better players. Simple being a manager isn't it !

I totally agree, 1st half was the best football i have seen in ages i really thought we could have won the game but second half it was like hereford was a totally different team, we should start playing and more passing and keep the ball and not keep gifting the ball to the other teams. stand your ground hereford we didn't go up for nothing

We just don't have a good enough squad I'm afraid and that's the bottom line. The current squad is no better than that that came out of the Conference, in fact I'm tempted to say not as good, and it is certainly not as good as last season's and that's why we're bottom! Of the League One sides I've seen so far they seem to be fairly ordinary and no better than we were last season - problem is that we're worse and that's it. There are a few bright spots though such as Broady, Dave, Matty Done and Randolph but I'm struggling after these four.

Forget the Cup, whilst the money would be useful we need to concentrate on the league and get out of the bottom half. WBA will not release McDonald with all their injuries so may be Theo would be a good bet or how about Ainsworth neither seem to be doing much at Watford.
