A Hat-Trick from Nick Chadwick and a strike from Simon Johnson hand The Bulls victory over local side, Pegasus Juniors... FULL TIME: Pegasus 1-4 Hereford United Hereford United came from behind after an early strike from Simon Gwynne - brother of United's very own Sam Gwynne gave the visitors a shock lead. A hat-trick from Nick Chadwick and an 85th minute strike Simon Johnson secured a 4-1 win. After going a goal down The Bulls slowly forced their way back into the game, with Jack MacLeod and Simon Johnson both going close. Firstly, MacLeod, breaking forward from his right back position, saw a shot saved by the feet of Turpin in the hosts' goal, and then moments later, in a near carbon copy move, Johnson saw his low shot turned over and out for a corner by Turpin. With 22minutes on the clock, United had got back on level pegging, with Chadwick firing home from the spot after Done had been felled by 'keeper Turpin who received a yellow card for his efforts. Moments later and Nick Chadwick nosed The Bulls in front - chipping Turpin who could only get the faintest of touches onto the ball as it bounced over his head and into the back of the net. United could have extended their lead by a further goal or two, with Johnson guilty of missing the target whilst in good positions on two occasions. Firstly he sent a right footed half volley from the edge of the area wide, and then five minutes later, sent a low right footed shot from the edge of the box tamely wide of the mark. Despite their one-goal deficit, the host's still looked capable of causing the Bulls defence some trouble - and with five minutes of the half remaining, Simon Gwynne was felled on the edge of the area in order to stop his impressive run progressing into the penalty box - however, the resulting free kick, taken by Anthony Robins sailed high over to the relief of the Bulls players, and supporters alike. The second half saw United enjoy much of the possession, but the League 1 outfit were unable to turn possession into goals until five minutes remaining. Johnson, who had been guilty of missing a chance earlier on in the half coolly slotted past Turpin after a twisting run into the area to hand The Bulls a 3-1 lead. Then with the game into stoppage time Matty Done, who had rounded the 'keeper squared to Chadwick who made no mistake in firing home from close range to grab his hat trick. We'll bring you a full time report shortly after the final whistle at around 9:20pm. Hereford United: Samson, MacLeod, Breen, Edwards, Berry, O'Leary, Jones, Done, Chadwick, Johnson, Beckwith. Lets keep the faith keep getting behind the boys

instead of taking the negatives lets look at the positives. we scored 4 past a decent keeper. and chadwick getting on the scoresheet has to be a bonus. and not being funny turner but johnson did brill for us at the end of last season, and he's a striker. why not try him upfront with chadwick or guinan for him to run off against dagenham. what's better is their gonna be low on confidence after gettin hammered 5-0 by shrewsbury..... lets get a good performance in against them and really start to turn this corner we just cant turn at the moment. cmon u bulls.
and turner, don't u think about resting any key players, just think of it as a league game. up the bulls

Thanks for your positive comments, J. A decent centre back, creative midfielder and prolific striker would transform the team.
