GT "Good result for us"Article Date: 17 Feb 2007 Talking after todays 2-0 victory over Barnet, Hereford United boss Graham Turner said "It's a good result for us, scoring two and hitting the woodwork three times." However, Turner, who changed his formation to 4-4-2 admitted "We got out of jail a bit with the chances that Grazioli had. I don't think he's started a game since September I believe, and it looked that way today becuase I've always had the highest regard for him as a goalscorer. "I thought we did okay, second half in particular when we pushed on a little bit, we created some good positions and got some good balls going into the box. "I was a bit dissapointed when they had just the one front man and he got in for a couple of chances, one headed chance and one where he got through the middle. That shouldn't happen. "Overall we've got to be pleased. Following the withdrawl of Simon Travis through injury early on, Rob Purdie had to fill in at left back, with Graham saying "I thought Rob Purdie handled it very well."With Simon almost certainly ruled out for the trip to Lincoln on Tuesday, the United supremo confirmed his belief in Purdie saying "Rob can fill in there at any time, we've got Alex, we've got Tammy coming back after suspension. "It's a nice challenge now on Tuesday, they look a very good side having watched them last night I thought they were decent so it's a nice one to look forward to." |
