Williams Goal V Bury

Williams: Back at Edgar Street

Team news ahead of Friday evening's match between Hereford United and Swindon Town...

Bulls boss Graham Turner could include new signings Andy Williams and Richard Jackson in his side, as United look to record their second straight win of the season.

Williams could take a place on the right side of a five-man Bulls midfield, although with Bradley Hudson-Odoi having capped a fine performance last Saturday with United's winning goal, the loan signing could find it tough to break into the starting 11 immediately.

Likewise, former Derby County and Luton Town man, Richard Jackson, could slot into either full-back position, but will the Bulls chief tinker with a winning side?

Karl Broadhurst remains sidelined with a shoulder injury, but his return is likely to be made within the next one or two matches.

Swindon Town come to Edgar Street having narrowly defeated Aldershot on penalties to reach the second round of the Johnstones Paint Trophy. However, Town boss Maurice Malpas was less than impressed with his teams efforts, labeling their performance as "pathetic-to- poor."

Swindon should be able to welcome back 'skipper Hasney Aljofree who has recovered from illness, but they could still be without Jamie Vincent and Barry Corr who is rated as 50/50.

Swindon currently sit 3 points above the Bulls in 10th place, having won two and lost two of their opening four League 1 games this season.

Previous Line-ups:

Hereford (vs Crewe): Randolph, Rose, Beckwith, Oji, Taylor, O'Leary, Diagouraga, Smith, Done (Easton 85), Guinan, Hudson-Odoi (Johnson 70).

Subs Not Used: Samson, Ashikodi, Threlfall.

Swindon (vs Aldershot): Phil Smith, Amankwaah, Ifil, Kanyuka, Jack Smith, McGovern (Marshall 59), Easton, Timlin (Allen 59), McNamee (Paynter 82), Cox, Peacock.

Subs Not Used: Brezovan, Casal.

  • I'd like us to stick with the winning formula of Saturday and bring Willo make a sub appearance. We looked back to our best against Crewe and having went to watch Swindon on Tuesday i can see Done and O'leary carving them open. Any news on Pitch inspections?

  • Travelling up for this game. Whats the weather/pitch like. Is it likely to be pitch inspection time?

Shame it wasn't our first-choice midfield on Tuesday! Haha

  • Hereford, you stand no chance against the mighty reds. Give up now cause the three points are basically Swindon's already. Yes our perfomance was an exception against Aldershot, but believe me we are going to rip you apart. I predict a 5-0 to Swindon tonight, and I'm traveling up to Hereford tonight to witness the battering. Come on you reds. Yahoo.

  • Pitch is good no inspection come on Bulls

I fink that we should play a four three three with taylor, deano, oji, richard jackson as our back four, have o'leary, diagouraga and smith in midfield and Done, Williams and Hudson-Odoi upfront Its the perfect formation
