Hereford United striker Sean Canham has joined Bath City on loan.

The striker enjoyed loan spells at Kidderminster Harriers and Bath City last season, but was handed a new short-term deal with the Bulls at the start of the new season.

Canham started the season well, scoring three times in the opening four games of the campaign, but has moved down the pecking order since the return to fitness of Ryan Bowman and Marlon Jackson.

"Sean has been a great character to have around," said Foyle, "But Bath showed an interest in him, it's come at the right time for us.

"We all know that finances are playing their part this season, and for us to strengthen the squad we need to make some room first."

As part of the deal with Bath, the two clubs have agreed a settlement over compensation with Marley Watkins, who joined the Bulls from Bath at the start of the season.

"It's a good deal for us," said Foyle. "The compensation issue has been outstanding for a while, and we're pleased that we've managed to tie that off."
