Hereford United are offering a unique opportunity for talented 16-18-year-old football players to pursue a two-year Football and Education Programme.

Get a first class education that will get you to university?
Gain qualifications to work in the sports industry?
Train and compete in a professional sports environment?
Become a football coach?
Come to one of our open days.
Football Development Centre - Central
Dates: Thursday 31st January and Thursday 7th March
Venue: Hereford United, Hereford, HR4 9JU
Time: 6.30pm
Football Development Centre - North
Dates: Wednsday 30th January and Wednesday 13th March
Venue: Ludlow Town FC,  Ludlow, SY8 2BN
Time: 6.30pm
To ensure that learners are fully prepared for the future, the programme includes a full-time education package, incorporating:
- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma, worth up to 3 A Levels
- Allows access to university
- Opportunity for vocational qualifications, such as Level 1 coach
- Opens the door to a coaching career in football
- Fixtures programme
- Regular fixtures representing Hereford United FC in a league
All learning takes place at Hereford United Football Club, under the direction of experienced education professionals.
All learners have access to a computer and a bespoke Virtual Learning Environment, which facilitates the teacher in delivering personalised learning for individuals.
Learners will have the opportunity to train in football for up to six hours a week with Hereford United coaches.
Training will be supplemented with regular fixtures against other teams in a regional league, as well as friendly fixtures against other professional football clubs.
