Midfielder Simon Hackney has joined the Bulls until January.

The former Carlisle United, Colchester United, Rochdale man recently left FC Halifax.

The skillful midfielder scored 17 times for Carlisle in 117 appearances from 2005-09.

He moved to Colchester in 2009 and made 35 appearances for the U's in two seasons, scoring once. During his stay at Colchester he went out on loan to both Morecambe and Oxford United.

He joined Rochdale in 2011 but, due to injury, featured just twice.

Simon is available for Hereford's game against Barrow on Friday evening.
