Bulls Complete Jones Signing
Hereford United have completed the signing of Craig Jones from Westfields.
Craig who lives in Hereford, has been at Edgar Street previously, moving through the youth ranks before breaking into the first team under Graham Turner in 2008.
Jones made 11 appearances for the Bulls, including Herefordshire Senior Cup games. He also turned out for the club at Portsmouth in the League Cup.
Speaking to the Official Hereford United Website, Bulls boss Martin Foyle
said: "We've had an eye on Craig for a while, and his name was mentioned a lot by supporters who have been recommending players to us.
"The feedback from the fans helped us make up our minds to give him a chance again.
"I've brought him in now until the end of the season to give him a chance to prove himself in competitive football. He won't just be sat on the bench, I don't want to just look at him in training, I need to see how he can compete in this league.
"Some people say he didn't get a decent chance last time around, now it's his chance to prove some people wrong.
"We've had a look at him in training, he's got a good left foot, a good footballing brain, it's up to him now to show he's good enough."
Jones is looking to prove a few doubters wrong, saying: "There's a few people who might think I wasn't good enough last time round, but it would be great to prove them wrong.
"I've put my head down since being released, it was disappointing, but I made the decision to work hard and I've had three good season's at Westfields."
Craig will wear squad number 20 and will be available for selection on Saturday against Hyde.
