Martin Foyle has made his second signing of the week, bringing in defender Rod McDonald from Nantwich.

McDonald joins the Bulls on a contract until the end of the season, after being watched by Foyle for more than 12 months.

Speaking to the Official Hereford United Website Foyle said: "We've had our eye on Rod for a while, and almost brought him in during the summer.

"I wasn't sure how many games he'd get with Luke [Graham], Stefan [Stam] and Michael [Townsend] already here, but with Townsend out injured I had to do something.

"He's another young lad, but you wouldn't think so when you see him play. He's got a lot of potential.

"He's played two practice matches for us, and has performed well in both so we're delighted to be bringing him in."

Rod will wear squad number 26 and will be available for Tuesday's game against Mansfield, subject to clearance.
