Update On Injured Trio

Posted on: Wed 25 Jan 2012

Physio Ian Rodgerson provides a brief update on the trio of Bulls players currently missing through injury.

Stefan Stam has an inflamed knee which saw him substituted at half-time during United's 2-2 draw with Oxford last weekend.

'Dodge' has prescribed a short period of rest for the centre-back, saying: "The injury just needs a short period of rest to let it recover."

Simon Clist suffered a groin strain during Hereford's 1-0 win at Dagenham & Redbridge. He is working hard with Dodge to get back to full fitness, but will be missing for around three weeks.

"He's just started jogging and is working on regaining extensibility and muscle strength," said Rodgerson.

Another absentee is left-back Joe Heath.

"Joe has a groin irritation where his abductor muscle joins his pelvis," added Rodgerson.

"He's working hard on a graded stretching and strengthening programme."
