Junior Reporter Competition

Posted on: Wed 17 Mar 2010
Hereford United are on the look out for budding football reporters to enter the Football League's Official Junior Reporter Competition.

To take part, each club is asked to run their own local competition to find a budding sports journalist.

The club winners will then go forward to national judging to identify one winner from each division, which the Football League will then invite for a day out at the relevant divisional Play-off Final at Wembley in order to write a report of the day to feature on www.football-league.co.uk.

Hereford United wish to invite as many entries as possible from our budding sports reporters of the future. The conditions of entry are simple:

- We invite young fans of the club to enter the competition by submitting a match report of a game they have watched at our ground. Entries will be accepted for more than one individually reported game.

- Entries can be submitted by e mail, by post or handed in to the club.

- Entries to The Football League's national competition will only be accepted from children aged 14 years and under

- The closing date will be Friday 16th April 2010.

- The entrant's name, age and contact details must be submitted with each entry

- The winner's match report will be displayed on our website and sent to The Football League.

The following terms and conditions of entry are accepted by entrants;

By entering this competition you agree that if you are selected by the club as the winner we can provide your name, address and other contact details, together with a copy of your winning entry to the Football League for it to be judged against the winners from all the other clubs as part of the Football League's Official Matchday Reporter competition.
