LAST SEASON
After being promoted to the Football League in 2008/09, Burton Albion finished in a respectable 13th place last season.
Highlights of last season included a 6-1 win over Aldershot and 4-3 win over the Bulls at Edgar Street.
THIS SEASON
The Brewers have picked up five points so far this season. They opened their 2010/11 league campaign with two goalless draws, drawing a blank against Oxford and Barnet respectively.
Sandwiched in between their two opening league games, the Brewers exited the League Cup losing 4-1 to Championship side Cardiff City after extra time.
Scoring four goals in their last two games, Burton have seen off Morecambe 3-2 before losing 2-1 to Cheltenham last weekend.
ONE TO WATCH
Shaun Harrad
He scored against Hereford three times last season, and after finishing last year with 22 goals he is once again showing that he knows where the net is having scored twice so far this season.
FAMOUS FOR... BREWING
Due to the high water quality from the local area Burton has a successful history in the Brewing industry - hence Burton Albion's nickname, the Brewers.
There are still a number of brewerys in Burton and the local land is protected from chemical treatments to preserve the water quality.
You either love it or hate it, Marmite is also produced in Burton.
LAST MEETING
Burton did the double over the Bulls last season, winning 3-2 at the Pirelli Stadium before defeating United 4-3 at Edgar Street with a last-gasp winner from former Hereford Tony James.
Marc Pugh, James McQuilkin and Kenny Lunt were on the scoresheet for the Bulls. After scoring in the 66th minute to level the scores a 3-3, Burton's Aaron Webster was given his marching orders three minutes into added time, before James headed home in the sixth minute of additional time to secure the win.
HEAD TO HEAD
The two sides have met on 12 occasions, with the Brewers just edging the head-to-head with six wins to United's five.
The sides first met in the FA Trophy back in 2001, with Hereford running out 1-0 winners. Rob Elmes scored for the Bulls, setting up a semi-final against Forest Green Rovers which United lost 6-3 on aggregate.
Hereford recorded their biggest win over Burton in April 2003. Karl Hawley, Steve Guinan (2) and Albano Correia scored to hand United a 4-0 win.
Burton's biggest win came the season after. In September 2003 Nigel Clough's men beat the Bulls 4-1.
The two sides have a history of high-scoring games. Out of the 12 matches played between the two sides there have been 39 goals - an average of 3.25 per game.
