Hereford United are backing the 'Run For Stanno' which is taking place on 25th September.

The run, headed by Exeter City fan Nick Bryant, will see a team of supporters make their way from Exeter to Yeovil for the League 1 game to raise money for cancer research in memory of former Yeovil, Hereford and Exeter striker, Adam Stansfield.

Nick and Paul Stansfield (Adam's brother) will be running the 50-mile route, supported by a three-man support team on bikes.

The group will be leaving at around 5am to get to the ground in time, and are busy trying to raise as much money as they can in Adam's memory.

Hereford United have donated a number of Hereford United signed shirts to the cause, and would urge supporters to make a donation via the team's donation website www.justgiving.com/arunforstanno.
