Janos Kovacs is a tall imposing central defender who has played for Chesterfield, Lincoln and Luton Town.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, Janos started out his career playing for MTK Hungaria. He moved to England in 2005 when he signed for Chesterfield.
Whilst at Chesterfield he played against The Bulls twice, once on the winning side as Chesterfield romped to a 4-0 win, before United found some form of revenge securing a 2-0 at Edgar Street.
After making over 60 appearances for Chesterfield he moved to Lincoln City where he was a regular up until their recent change in manager. He left The Imps in January by mutual consent, moving to Luton Town on a 5 month deal where he made 17 appearances.
Janos joins Hereford on a 2 year deal.
