Speaking on Friday to the Official Hereford United Website, the Bulls' Chairman and Director of Football Graham Turner revealed that planning application for the Blackfriars End will be made shortly.

"There was another big meeting lasting four and a half hours held on Thursday," Turner said.

"There were representatives from the council planners, Football Foundation, building regulation, environmental authority, police and fire. They all went through the plans for their observations.

"The big issue was emergency vehicle access to the pitch and we'll need to adjust the plans slightly.

"We're trying to get everything sorted out prior to actually applying for planning consent.

"The architect has gone off and will slightly adjust the plans.

"We've made further progress this week. Technically everything is OK as far as the Football Foundation are concerned and hopefully the planning application will go in before the end of the week."
